Celebrating their 6th anniversary, the Energy Business Awards 2007 were announced this evening at EMART Energy 2007 in Amsterdam, the annual European platform for energy trading.
Energy Business rewards excellence in a number of key energy business disciplines; to those companies who are making a significant impact on the way energy business is conducted, trading risks mitigated, precious energy resources utilised, energy systems developed, environmental degradation curtailed, energy technology advanced, and energy production and consumption distributed more efficiently and ethically.

The Energy Business Awards are a two stage process.
Stage 1: This first stage was for nominations and concluded on 14th September, 2007. Companies from throughout the energy complex were invited to nominate themselves or others in any one of 10 categories of excellence.
Nominations were submitted directly from individuals or through a third party to the official Energy Business website: www.energy-business.com
Stage 2: The second stage [from 20th September - 26th October, 2007] involved voting for 1 of 5 nominations for each category drawn up by the Advisory Panel.
